Spotlight Foster of the Month ~~ Stanley
Mr. Stanley here.... I am the Man you know. I am 9 years old and a great big moosh of a guy. I love to cuddle with anyone who shows me some lovin'. I get along with all my foster brothers and sisters just fine. I think my biggest accomplishment is I can eat my dinner in 6 seconds flat !! Right now my ears are bothering me so i am on some meds to make them stop hurting. But I would love to snuggle up with a new family as soon as possible.
6/1/08 Stanley is utd on his shots, neutered, microchipped and ear infection gone. He has gained some weight. Stanley is a happy boy and loves to play to an older pug. My adoption donation is $175.

This time of year allows our puggies to be anything they want to be. This is one of the best collection FFB has put out for Halloween.
Please check out all the other items we offer too. For the pups who choose not to dress all out we offer stylish scrunchies so they will not feel totally left out from making a fashion statement. We have comfy crate pads for your pet's enjoyment while they take those long afternoon snoozes. Also a must for foster families: The bellybands. These can be special ordered to fit the pug so please visit the website on how to measure the dog correctly. These are also great for those little boys who seem to have an accident on occasion at home.
100% of all sales from Fashionable Furbabies goes to CFPR to help defray the cost of vetting and rehibilitating the pugs that come into the rescue.

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!
TAKE A CHANCE ON LOVE…. Times are tough for everyone. Jobs are disappearing, homes lost due to foreclosures, gasoline and food costs are sky-high while salaries stay the same or are decreased. We are all struggling just to keep our heads above water, with no end in sight. That’s the people…think of the pugs.
From January 1, 2008 through June 1, 2008, Seminole County, one of our key rescue counties, took in 1,382 dogs. Of that number, 191 were adopted. 338 were euthanized. 155 were transferred to rescue organizations. 44 died of illness or injury. 135 remain in the County shelter. The rest were re-homed to their owners.
For this same time period last year, take each one of those figures and cut it in half, except for the adoption figure. Add another 103 dogs to that number. That should give you a clear picture of what this recession is doing to the animal rescue situation in Central Florida. But what about the pugs? First, rest assured, that all of the pugs taken into government shelters in the Central Florida area were rescued from those shelters by either Central Florida Pug Rescue, Inc. or one of our sister agencies. The bad news is that many of them, along with other pugs surrendered directly to us, are still in our foster care system.
