Hi there! I’m Darcy and I just came into rescue. I have already seen doc, and I am up to date on my shots and micro-chipped. The word is still out on whether I am spayed or not, but once my skin clears up, they will be able to find out. I do have a UTI right now, and possibly stones. I will keep you updated on my progress.

I am 8 years old and 15.6 lbs. Have you seen my pictures? I am cute aren’t I.

Talk to you soon.

Update: Well, my foster mom and CFPR have decided that it is best for me to live out my life in hospice and stay in rescue. I have an enlarged heart that I will need to be on medication for, for the rest of my life. I am grateful for the love of my foster family and am happy to love them in return for the rest of my days.

My name is Maggie and I am 13 years old.

I am now up to date on all my shots and I have been micro-chipped. I do have some allergies, but I am taking medicine for that. I have some degeneration of the spine, so my tail doesn’t curl. I can be cranky at times, but overall I like to think I’m just a spunky girl.

My foster mom says I can be a little vocal when I want your attention, but I think it adds to my personality.

I have a lot of love to give.

My name is Ralphie and I am 13 years old. I came to CFPR from a Miami shelter.

I have been diagnosed with severe arthritis, a hip degeneration, and a behavior disorder. I do bark, and for some reason I go after my back legs. The Dr. believes it is because of my lack of good vision. Those back legs are always sneaking up on me to stel my treats and toys. My foster mom says it’s cute, but strange.

I am not adoptable so I am in hospice care and my foster mom loves and takes good care of me. I will stay with my mom for the rest of my life.

Did I mention I love to carry my stuffed bone around? I have to keep it away from those sneaky back legs.

Hi, my name is Jenny and I am between 14 and 15 years old. My family lost their jobs and home and they wanted the best for me. They surrendered me to CFPR and I have been with my foster mom ever since.

After coming into rescue I began showing signs of dementia. I began to get lost in my own house which caused me to become confused and I couldn’t find my way around. I have a luxating patella and have some difficulty with movement. The doctor put me on meds for alzhiemer’s and it seems to be working.

Due to my health problems, I cannot be re-homed. My doctor felt that it would be too much for me. I have been with my foster mom now for 9 months and I will stay with her for the rest of my life. My mom says I’m her “little southern belle”. I love to cuddle with her and I love my new family.

He is doing well, loves his meals, cookie time, warm baths/showers and massages that he gets from a massage therapist weekly. Funny, he knows what happens when his bright green yoga mat comes out:) Because of him, I’ve found that the yoga mats may aide dogs like him in his condition, in walking around. He’s able to get more grasp and traction by walking on them and have shared this learning with others.

In the mornings, he loves to lay in front of the storm glass door of our house and bark at all the comings and goings of everything. (I call him my little security guard) He has very good eye sight; he can see people or cars from about 4 houses down from us.

I believe in “meant to be” and when I saw that he came from Palm Beach County, I knew he meant to come my way. I use to live down in Lake Worth/Lantana area a couple of years ago.

Update: I had my surgery, and it isn’t good news. Doc says I have Transitional Cell Carcinoma (bladder cancer). I am not a candidate for Chemo, so I will remain with my foster mom in hospice for the rest of my life. I have a good home here and my foster mom gives me so much love.

Update: I am going in for surgery for bladder stones, but as soon as I am better, I will be available again.

Dylan is an 8 year old blind and deaf pug that was found wandering the streets. He is a sweet, gentle cuddle baby that just needs loving and guidance. He is UTD on all shots, micro chipped, neutered and potty trained to a leash.

Dylan loves being around other dogs and kids. His favorite thing to do is lay around and sleep in his bed next to his human brother.

Update: Hi, Lexi here. I have been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and will need to be on medication for the rest of my life. My foster mom has offered to keep both me and my mother Paige for the rest of our days. I am so happy that I have my foster mom to take care of me and love us forever.

Hello there, my name is Paige and I would like to thank you ever so much for stopping by to learn about me and my darling daughter, Lexi. We hope that you will agree that we are a wonderful pair and will invite us to be a part of your family.

I am 10 years old, spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all my shots. Although I am completely deaf, I consider myself a “smart cookie” because I respond to hand signals and am pret-ty darn good at it, if I do say so myself.

Now Lexi, my sweet little girl, she’s 7 years old, spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all her shots as well. She hears perfectly fine but still responds to hand signals. Like mother, like daughter, wouldn’t you say?

We are enjoying our own private suite in our present foster home but would just looooooooove to cuddle in your bed with you. Because Lexi has been with me all her life, it is very important that we stay together. I must admit, as well, that I rely on my little girl and would feel so lost without her by my side. You see, where you see one of us, the other one will not be far behind. We stick together like glue!

Our foster mom says she feels like she has two bunnies in the house because our favorite treat is carrots. Of course, our ears are short and our tails are curly, so I don’t know why she would feel that way.

We are two curious, sweet and loving girls who are ready to steal your heart.
