Mr. Stanley here.... I am the Man  you  know.... I am 9 years old and I am a great big moosh of a guy. I love to cuddle with anyone who shows me some lovin'. I get along with all my foster brothers and sisters just fine.I think my biggest accomplishment is  i can eat my dinner in 6 seconds flat !!  right now my ears are bothering me so i am on some meds to make them stop hurting. But I would love to snuggle up with a new family as soon as possible. My adoption donation is $175.

Daisy

Daisy came into rescue from some loving volunteers of Schnauzer Love Rescue. She was abandoned by her owners who moved. Their neighbors took Daisy in until she found her way to rescue. Daisy is estimated to be 6 years old and has the sweetest disposition. She has some skin issues that needs to be addressed. Daisy was obviously bred more than once as well as been neglected. My adoption donation is $175.

1/28/08 Daisy saw the vet today. She was updated on her shots. Her skin tone is considerably almost back to normal. She was put on antibiotics, prednisone and animax (ear infection). She does have a luxating patella on both rear knees. She is put on glucosamine to help her knees/joints. Her nails were clipped but the quick was really long. Her foster mommy will dremel her nails to work on it. Once she is well, she will be scheduled to be spayed.

4/16/08  Daisy was recently diagnosed with severe hip dysplastic and medial luxating patellar with some arthritis in the rear knees.  We are looking into treatments that can help her or make her comfortable as much as possible. She had a MCT that was removed on her side.

5/3/08 Daisy will need surgery on both rear knees to help her walk better. For her hip, surgery is not recommended because it would not help her. Medication is the path we will take to manage her hip. Her ver bill will be rising. Please consider to be her virtual angel and help her begin healing.

Andy

ADOPTION PENDING: Andy was picked up as a stray from animal control. He is a fiesty and happy 3 year old boy. He is doing well in his foster home and gets along well with other dogs, children are unknown at this point. Andy is a little adventurous as he likes to bolt out of the front door. Sadly, he is HW positive. It will be a bit before he will be available for adoption. He is looking for an energetic family  or a home with another energetic dog. Please check back for updates. My adoption donation is $300.

12/4/07 Andy is coming along well with his HW treatment. He still needs to be neutered but that will be after he completes his treatment and deemed HW negative.
