3/16/08 It is with great sadness to tell everyone that Virgil  crossed over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. His foster mom is devistated and we at CFPR are heartbroken. RIP sweet Virgil, you are loved and will be missed by many..

Virgil came to us as a stray. Blind from untreated corneal ulcers, scar tissue & conjunctivitis, ears so infected with mass of running sores inside & out, wobbly from lack of food & with intestinal problems from a combo of worms & malnutrition. He was fearful of everyone & everything. No wonder, as he was living in a dark world where he was never safe. Until he came to CFPR… Virgil was learning to be a happy pug. He now loved to cuddle with his foster parents & was even starting to engage in a bit of play with his new pug brothers & sisters.  He is est. to be 7 yrs old.
