Hello, I’m Harry and I’m 5 years old. No one is really certain of my past, but I am a quiet and shy guy. It takes some time for me to warm up to new people, but I love other dogs. I get along with my foster brother and sisters nicely. I even play nice with cats. I am shy around small children, but I think in time I could get used to playing with them too. My foster mom is working on building my confidence, and has been taking me on outings to socialize with humans. I think the perfect home for me would be a home with a K-9 friend or a quiet home where I can gain my confidence and be a companion.

I just saw the doctor and we found out that my vision is slightly impaired. She thinks I am mostly blind in my right eye. My left eye has some pigment that formed, but I can see out of that eye pretty well. It does not stop me at all, I just have to remember where things are and doorways can be a little scary for me, especially the glass kind. Good news is, I am up to date on my shots and I have my microchip, so I am ready to go.

If you think I could be the guy for you, please fill out an application and ask for me, Harry.

I love to play and I can keep up with the “Big Dogs”; I do enjoy my own size play, but one of my foster brothers is a large Goldendoodle and he & I play ALL day long. I enjoy chatting with cats and gazing at the birds in the cage where I am. My foster fathers say I have an Energizer battery that they can’t find. I’m HIGH energy! No couch potato here. Do you have an active life? Is there another brother or sister for me to play with? Or are there any children for me to entertain? Do you enjoy getting non-stop kisses? Well, I could be that piece of your life you are missing. Give me a try and I know I will put more joy and love into your heart which will melt you away.

Love, Destiny

P.S. I have lots of love to give away.

Hi everyone. My name is Ellie and I am a 6 year old fawn female. I arrived from a shelter about a week ago and I am so happy to be out of there. I am heart worm positive, which means I need to undergo an intense treatment. I have already been spayed, chipped and am up to date on my vaccinations, so once I complete my treatment, I will be ready to find my forever home. I also need to put on some weight. It will be easier for me to do that once the heart worms are gone. I do, as you will see in my photos, only have one eye. I lost it before coming into rescue, but the vet says it was removed well. It does not slow me down at all, as my vision is wonderful in my good eye. Please check back soon to see how I’m doing.

Update: 4/29/12: Congratulations Scooter on your forever home!

Update: 8/10/11: Hi there! I came to Petco this past Sunday and while still quite easily overwhelmed by all the commotion at the Petco, I truly want to find a forever home of my very own. I would prefer to be with someone that could really be a companion for me. I get along with other dogs and I try my best to trust. I now trust my foster mom completely, and all that took was time and love. If you have it in your heart to give me a chance, I know you will fall in love with me and I with you. I hope to meet you soon! Thanks, Scooter.

Hi everyone, I’m Scooter and I am a 6 year old fawn male. I came from a breeder and am now in rescue and am looking for a forever home of my very own. I am still learning to trust people and how to be part of a family. I am very cautious around new people, so I may back up when you first come near me.

I do am not aggressive at all, just a little scared. I do better with women than men, but some men are ok. I prefer to be around adults rather than small children, only because their sudden movements frighten me a little. I am a very sweet, and loving guy and I really do want to trust people, just because of my past experiences, it will be a little harder for me.

I am up to date on shots, neutered, and micro-chipped. I have also had a dental, so my teeth are now pearly white.

If you have it in your heart to give me a chance, please fill out an application and ask for me, Scooter. I may need to meet you a couple of times before going home with you permanently, but you never know. It could be a match made in heaven!

Adoption Fee: $250

Update: 4/29/12: Congratulations Darcy on your forever home

Update: 2/14/12: I am back in waiting as my skin is yeasty again. The vet is going to see what is going on, but until we know, I will remain with my foster family a little longer. Its ok, they are wonderful and I enjoy their company. I will be ready for my forever family soon. Please check back in on me to see how I’m doing.

Hi there! I’m Darcy and I am an 8 year old fawn female, and I am just too cute for words! I am up to date on shots, spayed, and microchipped.

I am a special needs pug because I have a mass in my throat that is pressing below my trachea. So far, in the last 6 months, there has been no change to it.

I am looking for my forever home, even though I have this to deal with. It was originally thought to be pulmonary cancer, however the doctors think it may not be cancer at all, and just a mass that has been present since birth. It is inoperable, so it is something I will live with the rest of my life.

If you have it in your heart to give me a wonderful, loving home and accept me for who I am, please fill out and application and ask for me, Darcy.

Adoption Fee: $175
