Hospice Pug Donation Wish List

Supplies Needed for our Hospice Pugs

  • Soft “receiving” size blankets for snuggling and for use in vet visit transports
  • Assorted size pug sweaters to help keep old bones warm on bath days and during these spring (and summer and fall and winter) cold snaps
  • Metal feeding bowls with rubber bottoms, because it is so hard to have a leisurely meal when your bowl keeping running away from you!
  • Elevated metal feeding bowls – between bouts of arthritis and rheumatism the seniors just aren’t as spry as they used to be.
  • Strollers suitable for pugs, for visits to the dog park and the shuffleboard court.
  • Carry pouches, for times when the walk back to the house is just TOO much.
  • Baby toothbrushes to help the seniors keep what teeth they have left. They haven’t yet invented dentures for pugs, you know!
  • Water pik – ditto!
  • Soft baby wash cloths and towels
  • Baby socks with skid bottoms – do they come in packs of four?
  • Pads and diaper pants, because let’s face it, sometimes the oldsters just can’t make it to the facilities in time!
  • Orthopedic foam beds – just the thing for resting creaky old bones. A very important item because napping is a crucial activity in the life of a pug!
  • Baby detergent for the multiple loads of laundry done daily in a pug hospice (See: Pads and diaper pants, above)
  • Wheeled carts – when our paraplegics in care get hooked up to these, they get a new lease on life and extra health benefits!

If you would like to donate in person, please come to Petco in Altamonte Springs or Titusville to the “Meet the Pugs” event.

See Calendar for details.

We’ll see ya there!!!!
