Annie

Congratulations Annie on your forever home!

Update: 4/1/2011: An application has already been received on this pug. We process adoption applications on a first-come, first-served basis, however there is no guarantee that a prior application will be accepted or an adoption take place. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list of potential adoptors for this pug, please go ahead and file your application. If you would rather not wait for this pug, we encourage you to browse our other “Available” pugs to see if any others capture your heart, or file an adoption application describing to us the type of pug you are looking for (age, color, sex, etc.) and we will match you up with the first pug available meeting your description.

My name is Annie.  Don’t let my sweet face fool you…I intend to run your household with an iron paw!  I am only 2 years old…a puppy, really…but I already know what I want out of life:  a family who loves me forever, no matter what mischief I might cook up, someone who will cuddle with me all night long and someone who truly understands that I just AM the top dog and no one can do a thing about THAT!  I am already spayed, heartworm negative and have all my shots.  I am superbly athletic, so I don’t suggest you put your newly grilled filet mignon within my jumping reach or that baby will be GONE. I just love playing with all of my male pug foster brothers, mostly because I always get my way (and I can beat up any one of them with one paw tied behind my back!)…the females, not so much, unless of course they let me boss them around unmercifully.  With my humans I am always just the sweetest thing, always wanting to be petted and cuddled.  With them I can relax…mostly because there is no doubt that my foster mom is the true “big dog” in our family, and I can respect that.

So if you think you too can be the Big Dog and become the kind of partner I can love and respect (and have a whole lot of fun with), contact CFPR and file your application for Annie.  Between the two of us, we will have your household in shape in no time!

Adoption Fee: $375

I am interested in adopting Annie but I live in New York. Do you just accept applications from Florida residents?

    • Pug Rescue says:

      Hi Maria,

We would of course accept an application from you. Annie however has a few applications on her already. Special arrangements would have to be made to get you a pug, as we are all volunteers and it is a long distance to you, but I’m sure something can be done. I would encourage you to look at our website and see if another pug captures your heart. If so, please submit an application and April, our Adoption Coordinator will get in touch with you.
      Thanks, Dana- Foster/Medical Director

Thank you for taking my Annie into your home and loving her when I became unable to do so any more.

Her full name at birth was Anastasia Begliocchi Mendicini … Begliocchi is Italian for Beautiful Eyes. Her ‘daddy’ named her before he passed away.

She is a very loving baby and I miss her dearly, but I am pleased that she has found a loving home. I still have her sister who also misses her and making the decision as to which of my 4 dogs to keep was very difficult.
