The kids and my husband are having a great time with him… we are housebreaking, learning how to walk on a leash, and Buckwheat is giving Chowder a great workout.”

Hi Everyone! My name is Buckwheat. I am a 15 week old puppy and I have had my first round of Puppy shots, been neutered and micro-chipped. The only shot I do not have yet is my Rabies and that is because I am still too young. I have to wait just one more week before I have that shot.
I was found wandering the street with my two siblings, who have since been adopted. I am a pug mixed with Doxie. ”Daug” is the term I believe. I am absolutely adorable according to everyone, and I even will bark at my reflection in the mirror to play.
I am still learning to go potty outside, but my foster mom has been trying really hard to help me along. I will hold it through the night as long as I go out first thing when I wake up.
One of my favorite things to do is to hug you. yes, I love giving hugs. Put me up on your shoulder and there I will stay! I love to play, chew and bounce as a young puppy should. I get along well with other dogs and children and will make a wonderful family companion.
