Chewie
Congratulations Chewie on your forever home!
Update 8/5/11: An application has already been received on this pug. We process adoption applications on a first-come, first-served basis, however there is no guarantee that a prior application will be accepted or an adoption take place. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list of potential adopters for this pug, please go ahead and file your application. If you would rather not wait for this pug, we encourage you to browse our other “Available” pugs to see if any others capture your heart, or file an adoption application describing to us the type of pug you are looking for (age, color, sex, etc.) and we will match you up with the first pug available meeting your description.
Hi there! I’m Chewie. I am a pug mix and I am a 2 year old black male. I have recently gone through heartworm treatment and have gotten a clean bill of health from the doc. I am up to date on all my shots, neutered, and microchipped. I do get a little nervous around young children so children 8 and up would be better. I love to play and I am ready to find my forever home. Please consider me as a new member to your family as I am very sweet and have had a rough life so far. I know this is a fresh start for me, and I can’t wait to meet my forever family!
Adoption Fee: $225

Is Chewy good around other dogs. I have two other pugs, ages 12 and 9.
Hi Amy,
I am going to forward your question to Chewie’s foster mom. She will be able to answer it better. In the meantime if you are interested in possibly adopting Chewie, please fill out an application as it will hold your place for him should you want to adopt him. We process applications on a first come first serve basis, so at the very least it will secure your spot. If you choose not to move forward with the adoption, you can just simply decline. I let you know what she says. Thanks, Dana-Medical Director
Hi Amy, I got an e-mail back from Chewie’s foster mom and she said he has doggie play dates all the time and has been doing well. She thinks he will do find with two other dogs. We received your application and you should be hearing from our adoption Coordinator shortly. Thanks, Dana-Medical Director
Dana:
Any idea when I might be hearing something about adopting Chewie?
Thanks
Amy
Hi Amy,
I spoke with April, our Adoption Coordinator. She is working your application and is speaking with the foster mom for Chewie. You should be hearing from her very soon. Thanks, Dana-Medical Director
