If you would like to be placed on the waiting list of potential adopters for this pug, please go ahead and file your application. If you would rather not wait for this pug, we encourage you to browse our other “Available” pugs to see if any others capture your heart, or file an adoption application describing to us the type of pug you are looking for (age, color, sex, etc.) and we will match you up with the first pug available meeting your description.

Hi there, my name is Dorey and I am a 4 year old fawn female.  I am a very special girl and have been through a lot in my short little life so far.

Someone spun me around by my tail, because of which, I do have nerve damage.  My tail was amputated, so I do not have a typical pug curl, but I do think it adds something to my personality.  Due to the nerve damage from this incident, I am incontinent, however, the vet and my foster mom feel that I can be trained.  I would just need to be in a home of my own with someone who is home enough to take me outside four times a day.

I also spent a long time in a cage so I do have some anxiety which my foster mom is trying to help me through with the help of our vet.  No more cages/crates for me please.  The most I could tolerate would be a baby gate up to keep me in the kitchen.

I am sweet, loving, and will be looking for that very special home of my own soon.  I am waiting to hear back to see what my blood-work results are and then we will have a better idea of what the best treatment for me will be, if any is needed at all.

Adoption Fee: $175

    Hi Dory,
I have a little girl that is incontinent. I went to a vitamin store and bought Dryed Silk Weed. Tell your foster mommy about this product. It hasn’t cured it, but it has slowed it down. My mommy just sprinkles alittle on my food everyday. And, it taste pretty good too.

    Hi Dory,
Last night when I wrote you, I gave you some incorrect info. The stuff my mommy uses is from a Natural foods store. And, it’s called, Dried Corn Silk.

Hi. Is there still an application pending on Dory. I noticed that the application was pending as of June and was hoping that it fell through. Please let me know as we are interested in her.

HI John, Yes, Dory’s application is going through. She is being adopted out of state which is why it has been taking so long. Thank you so much for your interest in her. We do have may other pugs that are just as special as little Dory. If you like, you may fill out an application on one of them specifically, or you may fill out an application with as much information as you can and we will be happy to help match you up with the right pug for you and your family. Thanks, Dana-Medical Director
