Emma

Update 12/12/11: I have my FUR ever home! I am one happy girl and so is my new family!

Update 11/10/11:  An application has already been received on this pug. We process adoption applications on a first-come, first-served basis, however there is no guarantee that a prior application will be accepted or an adoption take place. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list of potential adopters for this pug, please go ahead and file your application. If you would rather not wait for this pug, we encourage you to browse our other “Available” pugs to see if any others capture your heart, or file an adoption application describing to us the type of pug you are looking for (age, color, sex, etc.) and we will match you up with the first pug available meeting your description.

Update: 11/8/11:  I have great news!  My blood work re-check came back and my infection is gone.  I am ready to find my forever home.  I will remain on antibiotics over the next couple weeks as I lost some of my fur on my hips from my infection.  That will grow back though.

My name is Emma.  I am 2 years old, spayed, beautiful, thin by pug standards but perfect for Hollywood, consider myself quite the fashion plate, and like many starlets, am completely insecure about myself and my future.  I came from a poor but honest background, and at a very young age was cast out into the streets to fend for myself.

After many desperate struggles, I came to CFPR, where they have assured me that I will never go hungry again!  Though my foster parents have given me absolutely everything I could possibly want, including a stylish wardrobe, I simply cannot bear the thought of being alone.  Ever!  For any reason!  I just don’t deserve to have abandonment issues at my age, and maybe with time and a few stints at rehab I’ll be better.  But what I really need is a permanent, full time home, with someone to give me the attention I deserve…in return that special person will get complete and utter devotion, the pleasure of my fixed attention and companionship and full access to the Oscar-winning potential of my life story.

I will be looking for my forever home soon.  Please check back to see how I’m doing.

Oh,q it was love at first site. I have so much love to give you. I am home during the day and night so a lot of attention would be given to you. You would be spoiled as well as 2 cousins Ozzy and Arthur that you would love to play with.
