We process adoption applications on a first-come, first-served basis, however there is no guarantee that a prior application will be accepted or an adoption take place. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list of potential adopters for this pug, please go ahead and file your application. If you would rather not wait for this pug, we encourage you to browse our other “Available” pugs to see if any others capture your heart, or file an adoption application describing to us the type of pug you are looking for (age, color, sex, etc.) and we will match you up with the first pug available meeting your description.

Update 12/18/2011: I have finished my heartworm treatment and now I am on my 6 weeks of quiet time and then I am ready to go!!!

Update: 11/9/11:  I have started my heartworm treatment and I am doing very well.  I still have to go for another shot in a couple weeks, so please stay in touch to see my progress.

Hi, I’m Ernie and I just arrived in Rescue.  It was a long trip for me to get here.  I came from out of state, was flown to GA where a wonderful volunteer picked me up and drove me to my foster home.   I am heartworm positive so I will be undergoing treatment for that.

I am a 4 year old fawn male, and I weigh 25 lbs.  I am tall for a pug, but my foster mom believes I am pure pug.

I love to play, am outgoing, and trying very hard to learn where to do my potty business.

Currently, while waiting for my heartworm treatment, I am o Docycyline, just an antibiotic.  Please check back soon for more updates on my progress.
