Hi everyone! Handsome here! I have been given the all clear to find my forever home! I am so excited!
Hi my name is Handsome, and yes I am if I do say so myself!
I am very well behaved, well except when I hear strange noises- that makes me a great watch dog.
My daddy passed away on me and I miss him dearly- in fact when I see another tall man they remind me of him and I am very happy.
I am 5 years old — but still love to play, run and play tug of war, but I love cuddling too!
Dad fully trained me, I sit, stay, down and listen very well – always for a treat.
I am completely healthy – got a little skin problem right now but almost gone.
And I love to go for car rides- they are the best! – Please open the window and let me feel the breeze.
Oh yea, I like other friends around, cats, dogs, kids.
Adoption Fee: $300

What is the skin problem and is it recurring? Does he have any allergies?
Hi Adam,
Handsome had some flea dermatitis. Basically it is an allergic reaction to the fleas he had before he came into rescue. We are not sure how long he had them, but he is doing much better now.
Thanks,

My heart goes out to each one of these adorable pugs. My “Girlie” lived 17 years! I had her for 14 yrs. I have been ill for a while but am getting back on my feet myself.I would never adopt a pug if I weren’t able to give it all it would need. Soon I will be working again and may be closer to adopting a pug. My vet told me I was the best Mother they had ever seen to my Girlie.Keep my information for future opportunities. I would like a companion on the young side, housetrained and healthy ( I am still paying my vet bill from My Girlie) Most of the humans know we can be pricey [especially when you live for 17 happy yrs.) I want to be able to have a long happy life with my pug. My heart is still broken for my loss last year.I would be intersted in bringing home a pug whose description is similar to Handsome. I can’t tell you exactly when my financial situation will improve…but I am starting back to work very soon.I don’t have a car to take him/her for rides yet.We know that is a must.Maybe someone could donate a car for me to be able to take my dog on car rides…You never know}
Hi Martha,
Please continue to follow these babies. When you are ready, we are here.
Thanks, Dana-Foster/Medical Director
Is Handsome still available? I am interested in adopting him.
Thanks,
