Ike

Update: 5/1/11: A note from my mom:  ”Finley is the best dog ever. I love him so much. He gets so spoiled by grandma and grandpa too. Thanks again so much :) ” -Danielle

Congratulations Ike on your forever home!

Hello, my name is Ike and I am a 2 year old apricot pug mix male. I am possibly mixed with chihuahua.

My foster mom says I am 12 lbs. and need to gain about 2 pounds, otherwise I am healthy.

I am up to date on all my shots and I have been neutered and micro-chipped.

I get along with my pug foster brothers and sisters, will sit on command, and I am crate trained.  I will come when called, but on my terms….I have pug in me after all.  I am not food agressive, but will grrr a little if someone gets too close.  My foster mom says this is normal.

My New Home

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT !!!

Danielle’s mom was out watering the plants when we drove up. Danielle walked out the door, Ike flew past the Mom to Danielle!! It was the greatest sight!
Ike bonded  instantly to her.  We took him out back so he could run and smell a bit. He Christened all the bushes and trees, then ran around the corner to poop in privacy!  He started nesting in her pillows while we were talking in her room. Then he quickly found the pillows in the family room to rest on.  He will do fabulous there.

    Hello,

I currently have a VERY energetic 1.5 year old puggle who desperatly wants a companion to play with…

She loves to play with other dogs but sometimes can be a bit to rough for the timid dogs…

I live in Naples/Marco Island and was wondering if you have any pugs or pug mixes that you think would be able to hang with my pup… Or do you know of any rescues in my area that have what we are looking for?

I would like a pup that is close in age and has a good temperment.. My current pup isn’t agressive in a bad way, she just gets soooooo excited when another dog comes over that she can intimidate timid dogs…

Thanks for your help and all you do,

    Don Ross
