Jasper

Congratulations Jasper on your forever home!

Jasper was found wandering down a very busy road in south Orlando.  A wonderful Angel scooped him up and delivered him to CFPR on Christmas Eve.  Jasper (one of the 3 wise men) is estimated to be 6 months old.  He is a very tiny guy weighing in at about 11 lbs.  He is up to date on his shots and has been neutered.  Jasper will not be available for a while; he has demodex mange which needs to be cleared up first. While he is in waiting he is being taught his house manners by his loving foster brothers and sisters. His favorite activities are chasing the neighborhood squirrels around the back yard, and rearranging where he believes the toys should all be kept in the house.

This little guy would be a perfect addition to my family. If someone could contact me that would be great. I am going to try to start the adoption process tonight. I see that he wont be available for some time and that would actually work out perfect for us. Hope this works out!

Hi-We adopted a small female pug mix (our vet thinks she’s a “chug”) about the same age from South Lake Animal Rescue in November, also found wandering Hwy 50 in Orlando. She was also diagnosed with demodex mange and we have finished 2-3 month treatment with much success. I wonder if they are siblings? Looks very much like our little Molly, our sweetheart family dog now. Whoever adopts him or is caring for him now, it would be neat to compare stories.
