Lola
Congratulations Lola on for forever home!
Update: 2/12/10: I received the final part of my heartworm treatment this week and am doing well. I will need to still go back for my shots and for a re-check. I still have an application in on me, so please keep checking for updates.
Update 1/31/11: An application has already been received on this pug. We process adoption applications on a first-come, first-served basis, however there is no guarantee that a prior application will be accepted or an adoption take place. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list of potential adoptors for this pug, please go ahead and file your application. If you would rather not wait for this pug, we encourage you to browse our other “Available” pugs to see if any others capture your heart, or file an adoption application describing to us the type of pug you are looking for (age, color, sex, etc.) and we will match you up with the first pug available meeting your description.
Hi everyone, I’m Lola. I am 3 years old and I am just gorgeous! I have a darling face and a spunky personality to go with it. My former owners loved me, but could not care for me at this time, so they brought me to rescue so I might find my forever family.
My foster dad gave me the full spa treatment today. I had a bath, brushing, massage…….ooooh it felt soooooo good!
I met my pug foster brother tonight and we are getting along just fine. I love to play and will even bring you a toy when you are not paying attention. I go to the door when I need to go out and I will also sit on command. Oh, I almost forgot…one of the things I love to do is give kisses, so whomever my foster family is, you better be ready!
I did go to the vet this week, and got some unfortunate news. I am Heartworm positive. It is ok though. My doctor is wonderful and so are my foster parents. I will start my treatment for it next week and I will be on restricted exercise for a while. Other than that I am very healthy and will be back on my paws in no time.
I am already spayed and micro-chipped, so once my heartworm treatment is complete, I can get all my shots and I will be ready to find my forever home.
Please check back soon to see how I’m doing.

Hello Beautiful Lola,
We are interested in how you are doing!! Have you started your heartworm medications yet? We have submitted an application to adopt you and would love an update on how you are doing!! We hope you are getting better everyday and look forward to hearing from your foster parents or the adoption coordinator about becoming a part of our new family!
Lots of pug kisses!!

Hi Erin,
Lola has started her treatment and is doing very well. She is a very sweet and loving girl. I received a copy of your application from our adoption coordinator and would love the opportunity to talk with you further about Lola. I left you a message on the 904 number. I will await your call.
Thanks, Dana-Foster Coordinator and Lola’s foster mom!
