Lucky
Congratulations Lucky on your forever home. We know you will be so happy with your foster family, now your adoptive family for years to come.
Update 2/22/2011: Lucky’s foster sister recently lost her birth mother and is having a hard time adjusting. Lucky has been her new companion and is helping her adjust to life without mom. Her health is fragile and cannot handle another major change in her life at this time. Please check back with Lucky to see if and when he might be available for adoption.
Hi there! I’m Lucky and I am about 9 years old, and I am very sweet.
I love belly rubs and ear rubs. I am up to date on all my shots, am neutered and micro-chipped.
I am learning how to play and what it is to be comfortable in my new foster home. I love to fluff my pillow before I rest on it, and I love to snuggle. I eat two good meals a day, but I am not too fond of those treats. I do love my carrots though, and I will tell you all about it.
My foster mom says I am turning out to be a real character.
I am afraid of loud noises like thunder, so I try to stay close to my foster mom for comfort during a storm. My foster mom says I am a cuddler anyway, so I know she doesn’t mind.
I am ready to find my forever family.
Adoption Fee: $200

Since Lucky introduced himself. he has come a very long way! He has a winning smile, thanks to his dental cleaning. He has learned that treats are not so bad. He especially likes little, baby carrots!!
He loves to sit on the couch and snuggle up really close. The storms and loud noises still bother him, but he isn’t bothered by anything else. He loves to go for leisurely walks and behaves like a little gentleman on the leash. He gets along well with his foster sisters, even gives one of them a puggy kisses. He is so ready to find his forever home.
Lucky has come a long way since he came to us. His winning smile (thanks to his dental cleaning) will steal your heart. He walks like a little gentleman on a leash and loves to snuggle.
My Corgi is afraid of thunderstorms too. Rescue Remedy is a big help. My dogs have all lived with at least one Pug and all are gentle. Three cats are also dog friendly and non-threatening. Spencer and Lizzie sleep with our Lab rescue.
Barbara,
Thank you for the advice. Even my pug, Felix, gets antsy during thunderstorms. I’ve been told it’s because they feel the static electricity in their fur. And it’s so great to hear that your cats cuddle up with your Lab. I am sure that makes for a great kodak moment.
My pugs are also afraid of thunderstorms, I will come running when i see a storm coming so I am home with them. Once day i wasnt and poor Buddy chewed a hole in the plaster wall, dont know where he thought he was going. Lucky sounds like a true pug, always wanting to cuddle whenever possible. It is impossible not to give a hug to a pug that is wanting to cuddle.
