Lucy (aka Luly)

Congratulations Luly on your forever home!

Update: 8/12/11: An application has already been received on this pug. We process adoption applications on a first-come, first-served basis, however there is no guarantee that a prior application will be accepted or an adoption take place. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list of potential adopters for this pug, please go ahead and file your application. If you would rather not wait for this pug, we encourage you to browse our other “Available” pugs to see if any others capture your heart, or file an adoption application describing to us the type of pug you are looking for (age, color, sex, etc.) and we will match you up with the first pug available meeting your description.

Update: 5-24-11:  I am now up to date on all my shots, micro-chipped, healthy and ready to find that very special home of my very own.  Please fill out an application and ask for me, Luly.

Hi, I’m Luly.  You may have seen me on T.V.  My brother did not survive after the two of us were left in a car in the 90 degree heat.  I am adjusting in my new foster home and my foster mom is taking really good care of me.  I will be going to the vet on Friday and I will be looking for my forever home soon.  At this time the rescue is not accepting applications for me, but please check back to see how I’m doing.

Adoption Fee: $200

I heard about this on the Philip’s File. How is she doing?

    • Pug Rescue says:

      Hi Tracy,

Luly is doing well. She is bonding with her foster sisters and brother and will be going into the vet this week for a check-up. Thank you for following her story.

Hope you are doing well. I own a Pug, his name is Duke…My heart goes out to Luly and to all others who are caught up in a not asked for situation. I pray that a nice home will be found for you shortly…

Vikki, thank you so much. You are so sweet. Luly is doing well and adjusting to life. She’s such a role model….truly an inspiration…

  5. Brenda says:

Thank you as well Tracy for your well wishes. Luly is honored. She sends you a puggie kiss. She got her teeth cleaned and now they are pearly white! :-)

  6. Tracy says:

How is Luly doing? How old is she, and is she house trained?

    • Pug Rescue says:

      Hi Tracy,

Luly is doing fantastic! She is a senior at 9 years old, but very healthy. She is an absolute love. I believe she is house trained, but that would be a question for her foster mom. If you are interested in Luly, please fill out an application on her. This will open a line of communication between you and our Adoption Coordinator April, who will put you in touch with Luly’s foster mom to ask any questions you may have. Thanks, Dana-Foster/Medical Director

  7. Brenda says:

Tracy, yes Luly is fully trained. She is full of love and happiness! She lives each day as if it were the best day she’s ever had. :-)

i have submitted one application for another dog and i dont know if i have to do an application for each and every dog. however, if she gets along with kids, cats, and dogs, then my family is intrusted.

    • Brenda Black says:

Hi Christine! It’s Luly’s foster mom. Thank you so much for your application with us! We sure appreciate it. No, one application will be fine. We review applications and then take everything into consideration as far as a good match with you, your family, and that special pug. :-)

Someone will be in touch with you soon. Again, thank you.

Luly is a precious precious gal. She is such a good girl.

    Brenda,
It was so nice talking with you over the weekend. My husband (Owen) has submitted an application for Luly, I believe. He is so crazy over animals. Like I said I think he likes them more than people. LOL! If we qualify I can assure you Luly will have a very loving home. We live on 2 acres and have plenty of stretching room. We are in a semi coutry setting. Hope we may meet Luly soon. And you of course!!

    Sincerely,

    Patsy

  10. Brenda says:

Hi Patsy! Thank you for your kind note. I look forward to meeting you Saturday and most assuredly Luly is too! She is packing her pugcase :-)
