Mariah

Mariah is doing wonderful.  She is settling in just fine. She is so gentle with the kids, she loves to run around the big backyard, and she is just the sweetest little girl! She’s been sleeping with me at night. Rest assured knowing that we are loving her to death!

Congratulations Mariah on your forever home!

I am Mariah.  First off, you will never know how old I am…the puppy mill that gave me up said four, the vet said five and my foster mom thinks closer to two or three.  And I am not telling!  I can say that now that I have had my spay surgery, my figure is girlish and I have just the cutest puppy face!  I can and will play all day long…I love toys and running and jumping and long walks and playing with other dogs and my humans…nothing old about this girl!  When I first came in to rescue, having been locked up my whole life in a puppy mill, I was skinny and covered in sores.  But now I am sleek, with silky black fur, and have learned all the necessary manners and social graces for a proper pug lady (although that sitting-before-a-treat thing is a waste of time IMHO…just get to the treat already!  I deserve it!).  I sleep in bed with my foster parents, and after my active days, I am a very sound sleeper.  A few cuddles, a night-cap biscuit and I am down for the count.  And being a lady, I never snore.  And although a true beauty, I am never a diva.  I’ll leave the bossing around to the other females in the family, as I would rather concentrate my focus on the important one in my life…and that would be YOU!

      Hi Renee,

Mariah is still in waiting, but she is a beautiful girl. It will be a bit before she is available for adoption, as she needs to see our vet and have her shots, be spayed, and be microchipped. If you are interested, please fill out an adoption application as she is already gaining some interest. Her foster mom is Ann Colby and she will be happy to talk with you more about Mariah.

      Thank you,
Dana Palmieri; CFPR Foster Coordinator and Web Manager

I am looking for a Pug for my nine year old niece Makaila. Makaila is an animal lover and already dreams of becoming a Vet.
We inquired about a pug named Pipo, an d were reffered to your site, because Pipo is all the way in south florida. We reside in New Port Richey, Regardless,we will travel where we need to in order to find the right Pugfor Makaila. Makaila is a very gifted child, and she kis also very responsiblr for her age. I have no doubts that she will make a wonderful mommyto one of your Pugs. Makaila has expressed great interest in Mariah, and we were wondering if she has found a home yet?
Please let us know..Thank you, Makaila and aunt Janis
