Sushi

Update 2/11/11: A note from my new mom:  ”I am so thankful for your rescue. With the help of your rescue & your foster mom Sharon Hoffman, I now have a wonderful addition to my family – Suzie.   She is such a joy to have in my life. I can’t thank you & Sharon enough.

Thank-you,
All Our Love,
Claudia & Suzie”

Congratulations Sushi, now Suzie on your forever home!

Hi, my name is Sushi. Now don’t get hungry because I’m just a little thing and not enough to feed your appetite! I was left at the county jail on my 10th birthday covered with fleas. What type of present is that? My foster mommy said it was truly my lucky day because they will help me find my forever home so I can retire in and get all the love I want.

I spent the day at the spa getting the princess treatment. I got a nice soothing bath and a pedicure too. Can I tell you? It felt so good! I’ve already been to the dogtor so I’m now up to date on my shots, spayed and micro chipped too. I had a dental and only lost one tooth!  I do have dry eyes in both eyes  and takes drops daily but my vision is still good. I love giving sweet kisses and I love to be held.

I am weak in the rear due to a spinal issue but I don’t see that as a flaw. I use it to my advantage to sway my hips and catch the boys’ eyes. I can trot along with everyone but sometimes stumble over my rear paws. I get along with my foster siblings because they give me my space.

I am ready to go to my forever home, so if you have love in your heart and you want to share it with me, please fill out an application and be sure to ask for Sushi.  See you soon!

As Sushi’s foster mom, I can say she is the sweetest, adorable petite foster I’ve met. She is always by your side and likes to sit right next to you on the sofa. She is not a barker though if my puggies get going, she will add her opinion to it. Sushu loves belly rubs and likes to be carried around in public. Though she has a weak rear end, she will gladly run/trot to you when you call her name. She’s quite a little spitfire and can move quickly when food is around.

Sushi sleeps in bed with me and the other puggies and settles down quicky. She is a quiet sleeper. Her potty habits are wonderful witht he exception of an occasional #2. That’s only because I didn’t take her out immediately from waking up. She even takes her eye drops like a champ and doesn’t fight you on it.

Sushi would make a wonderful companion to someone who is retired or home alot. I think she would do well in a home with no young children but possibly older children.

Hi Sharon, I just put in my app for Sushi. I sure do hope I can add her to my family. She is such a cute little doll. Do you think she would get along with my 2 cats ? They pretty much keep to themselves, yet they do get along with other dogs…Claudia

Hi Claudia, Sushi is laid back and I believe she would not mind the cats. Hang in there and we will get a home visit scheduled with you soon. I’m really excited to know that Sushi will have a forever family soon. She truly deserves the best of everything.
