Thank goodness my foster mom does good research! I have seizures of unknown origin. I am on Phenobarbital but was still having a seizure every week. My foster mom, with the guidance of our vet and a pet nutritionist, increased my Phenobarbital dose a little bit and started me on a grain-free diet with mega B-complex vitamins. I was seizure-free for two weeks before I had another one. You would never know that I ever had them.
I’m a little guy weighing only 18 pounds. I’m full of energy, love to play with other dogs, and come when called. I have a voracious appetite and LOVE to eat. My foster mom has to wipe my messy face after each meal. But my favorite thing to do is snuggle. I am quite the snuggle bunny. I will stretch out right alongside you in bed, resting my little head on your chest (you can wrap your arm around me). This way when you wake up, you can look right at me!
I just learned potty-training and am passing with flying colors. I like to potty outside because my foster parents make such a big deal out of it. And then I get a treat. Wahoo! I’m rewarded for doing my business – those silly humans…
I’m a good boy, will stay in a crate if I must, and love to snuggle (did I tell that already?). I love hanging out in comfy doggie beds, too.
I am a special needs pug. If you promise to keep me on my special diet and my medication, I should be just fine. The seizures don’t hurt me. When they occur it’s only for about 1 minute and then I’m fine. Really, you’ll see. If you have the love in your heart to adopt me, please fill out an application for Kodac, that’s me!
