Update: 3/19/12: Due to being diabetic for the amount of time I was without any treatment prior to coming into rescue, I have Cataracts in both of my eyes. There is nothing to do for this unless my forever home wants to have the lenses in my eyes replaced. That is a very expensive surgery, but it would restore my eyesight. Otherwise, I will just eventually be a blind pug. That is ok. I am adjusting to seeing through a cloud right now very well. My foster mom is helping me get more and more comfortable with it. I will still be able to find my way around. So, I just need a loving home that is willing to be patient with me while I get used to using my other senses to guide me. I will need my daily insulin shots, but I am a pro now and take them with no issue! After all, I am a princess. I’ll see you soon. Can’t wait to meet you!

Update: 3/2/12: I am ready to find my forever home. I am diabetic, but we have gotten my insulin levels steady. I will need daily insulin shots. I don’t mind them….I am a very good girl. My foster mom will show you how to do it. It only takes a second. I am very vocal and would love to have a conversation with you. I love to be wherever you are. Hi There! I’m Zoe. You may all remember me. All of you played a part in me being here today. If it wasn’t for the generous donations my rescue received, I may not have had the opportunity to find a forever family of my very own. The doctor is still trying to regulate my insulin as I do have diabetes. I came in with an awful infection and we were all unsure if I was going to make it. Lucky for me, I am a stubborn girl and would not give up. My foster mommy did not give up on me either.

I am doing well and making progress everyday. I have put on some weight and there will be updated photos of me coming soon.
