Jenny

Hi, my name is Jenny and I am between 14 and 15 years old.  My family lost their jobs and home and they wanted the best for me.  They surrendered me to CFPR and I have been with my foster mom ever since.

After coming into rescue I began showing signs of dementia. I began to get lost in my own house which caused me to become confused and I couldn’t find my way around.  I have a luxating patella and have some difficulty with movement. The doctor put me on meds for alzhiemer’s and it seems to be working.

Due to my health problems, I cannot be re-homed.  My doctor felt that it would be too much for me.  I have been with my foster mom now for 9 months and I will stay with her for the rest of my life.  My mom says I’m her “little southern belle”.  I love to cuddle with her and I love my new family.

I love, and miss you sooooo much!!!
There is’nt a day that goes by that I don’t think about you! I’m so,so sorry that I had to give you up, but I know in my heart you are in a better place.
    To Jennys foster family:
I want to Thank You from the bottom of my heart for taking in my baby Jenny! She was part of my life for 10 years until things went bad with the economy, loosing my job, and not having the means to give Jenny the life she truly deserves. I only wish I could hold her in my arms for one last time to tell her how much I love her!
So for me could you Please do that for me?
THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH MY FRIEND!

Hi Chris, I sent your response to her foster mom, Juanita. She is very much loved and cared for. She’s been diagnose with cognitive canine dysfunction…it’s alzheimer. You gave her your utmost love by doing what was best for her and she will always love you for that.

Jenny came into my life and has been a sweet angel. Even though she was diagnosed with Canine dementia she continues to be a sweet addition to my life.
We are growing old together. I have always imagined her with a pretty sun dress on and a straw hat.
I know that the family before me loved her very much and I just want them to know that we love and care for her very much too. I would love for them to be able to hold her in their arms too the way that I do everyday.
Jenny is my southern bell and I will care for her to the end of her days. I only hope it’s a very long time from now. Juanita

    Juanita,

It was good to meet you at the Pug reunion today. I am so glad that Jenny has a loving mom who loves her and takes care of her.

Michael and I were very disappointed to have to return her, but we take comfort in the one pug we were able to keep.

Please give Jenny a hug and a kiss for us. She is a sweet little old lady who is truly a DIVA.

    Gina & Michael

What a sweet looking dog. I’m sorry her family had to give her up. But, with reading the above comments, can see she is in another loving environment.
