Cookie
We will miss you Cookie. Here is a special message to you from your mom and dad.
To Our Cookie,
You came into our lives in April 2009 and you came in with such confidence and love. Daddy fell in love with you when we met you at “Meet the Pugs” in Altamonte Springs. He just loved how you waddled your way in the parking lot.
When we picked you up he sat with you in the back seat to make certain you were not scared and were comfortable. He was always protective of you, and you attached to him. He used to love it when he picked you up and you “flew”. He just adored having you lie next to him in the bed. He misses it still. He especially enjoyed your snuffling your way around the house until you found him. How you barked or yelled when we would leave you on the sofa. You were such a little queen.
We knew when we adopted you that you were special with special needs. We had hoped that you would have been around for many, many years, but that was not to be. We had you for two short years and we treasured every minute of that time with you. Even our new pug Buzz respected you and your space. How you bossed him around was funny. You never let your bad heart or poor eyesight get in your way. Daddy especially loved how you would watch over him as he showered and then would lick his ankles to make certain he had washed correctly. He pampered you.
We can both remember your winning at the Halloween Dogs’ Night Out at KC’s Big Dipper Ice Cream social. Daddy was so proud that his little girl won. If it had been millions of dollars he couldn’t have been prouder of you. I know that you are happily running around in heaven, where all dogs go, playing and eating and snoozing.
Your passing back in April 2011, has left an empty spot in our home. You have left a mark on our hearts forever. We will never forget you.
Mom and Dad

Little Cookie monster. It is sad that I have to write this, and I am very late in doing so. You came into our lives in April 2009. What a difference you made. You were Dad’s first pug and you earned a special place in his heart as well as mine.
We enjoyed you so much little Cookie. You were so funny. How you would sniff around until you found us. How you would sit outside the shower while Dad was showering and then you would lick his ankles to make sure he had washed properly. You were a joy.
Cookie came to us as an elder pug with a heart condition and almost blind. It didn’t stop her from claiming her territory. She found her way by smell and although she wasn’t very active, she certainly enjoyed being pulled around in her special wagon.
Cookie went over the Rainbow Bridge on April 2, 2011. She just got tired and decided to go home. We miss you Miss Cookie, I know I have said that before, but it is true. You left a mark on our hearts and you will never be forgotten. We have you buried in our back yard among the Crepe Myrtles.
Forever in our hearts, we love you Cookie monster. Mom and Dad
