Jenny

It is with a heavy heart that we send Jenny over the rainbow bridge.  We will miss you Jenny!  Here is a note from her foster mom who loves her so much.

My darling Jenny,

Jenny was a true lady from the moment she came into our home 2 years ago. She demanded respect and chose who she wanted around her. I was one of the lucky ones. No matter where I was in the house Jenny would search me out and wanted my attention. Jenny never got along with others and behaved as though she was the only one in the house and always in charge.

Jenny struggled over the last year with a degenerative spine. She was receiving shots to help keep her mobile as Jenny didn’t like being helped, nor did she like wearing a diaper for those times when she couldn’t control her muscles. Jenny was very proud and independent.

Friday my Jenny suffered a stroke and as a friend put it, she just couldn’t “rally”. She was disoriented and frustrated with her condition and so, as any proper lady, Jenny knew when to take her leave. She gave me one last kiss and went to sleep in my arms. Jenny was a very big part of our lives and we will miss her terribly. She was  buried here at the CFPR burial grounds yesterday with her brothers and sisters. Now she will take charge of the rainbow bridge. Go get em my girl!   All my love Miss Jenny. Nita

There is’nt a day that goes by that I don’t think about you! I’m so,so sorry that I had to give you up, but I know in my heart you are in a better place.
    To Jennys foster family:
I want to Thank You from the bottom of my heart for taking in my baby Jenny! She was part of my life for 10 years until things went bad with the economy, loosing my job, and not having the means to give Jenny the life she truly deserves. I only wish I could hold her in my arms for one last time to tell her how much I love her!
So for me could you Please do that for me?
THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH MY FRIEND!

Hi Chris, I sent your response to her foster mom, Juanita. She is very much loved and cared for. She’s been diagnose with cognitive canine dysfunction…it’s alzheimer. You gave her your utmost love by doing what was best for her and she will always love you for that.

Jenny came into my life and has been a sweet angel. Even though she was diagnosed with Canine dementia she continues to be a sweet addition to my life.
We are growing old together. I have always imagined her with a pretty sun dress on and a straw hat.
I know that the family before me loved her very much and I just want them to know that we love and care for her very much too. I would love for them to be able to hold her in their arms too the way that I do everyday.
Jenny is my southern bell and I will care for her to the end of her days. I only hope it’s a very long time from now. Juanita

    Juanita,

It was good to meet you at the Pug reunion today. I am so glad that Jenny has a loving mom who loves her and takes care of her.

Michael and I were very disappointed to have to return her, but we take comfort in the one pug we were able to keep.

Please give Jenny a hug and a kiss for us. She is a sweet little old lady who is truly a DIVA.

What a sweet looking dog. I’m sorry her family had to give her up. But, with reading the above comments, can see she is in another loving environment.

Yes Jenny will rule the bridge :) , and teach all the others how it is to be from the south. Jenny was a very special pug, and we all were blessed to have met her. maggie

Jenny you will be missed by those who have met you. I was one of the fortunate ones to be graced with your presence. I will miss the many nights on the phone with your mom and we have to pause because you would raise havoc when you thought all was too calm in the home. Your mom was your angel caring for you in your time of need and now you are her angel watching over her. RIP Jenny, sweet angel. xoxo

Rest in peace my baby girl, your pains are no more! you were the light of my life for 10 years, and I will never forget you!
Thank you everyone at CFPR for giving Jenny a wonderful life! You gave her the fighting chance she needed. She was an angel, and she truly earned her wings.

We too had Jenny for a short while. We had tried to adopt two Jenny and Cookie. Jenny being the Diva she was didn’t take kindly to sharing with Cookie. So we had to surrender her and we kept Cookie.

Cookie crossed over back in April of this year. I guess her heart just gave out. We miss her terribly, and I just read that Jenny passed this year too. It brings tears to my eyes. I know that you all did what was best for her too. Take comfort in knowing that you loved her and that is all that anyone can do.
