Nita, Paisley knew how much you loved her. When others said it was her time, you did not give up hope and gave her more time. You and Matt gave her your utmost love and set her free when she told you she was ready. You both helped her get her angel wings.

Paisley, your Aunt Sharon and Uncle Andy loved you from the first time we laid eyes on you. We're glad to help keep you happy with the wagon. Seeing you so content in it put big smiles on our faces. We will miss you but will always love you.

From the moment I layed eyes on Paisley I knew I wanted her in my life. I had never seen a pug like her. She was so squat but fiesty. So fluffy with a tongue that was as long as she was.
Everyday that Paisley was with us she ruled our home. She was loyal to me, always waiting by the door till my return. She watched over my son as though he was her son. She scolded him and made him follow the rules.
Not many could hold her and give her the hugs and kisses. She chose who would be close. She would nip at anyone that she didn't want to mess with her, including the doctors. But from me, she looked for comfort and lovin.
Over time her health was failing but she still chased my son and held her ground. She loved her rides in the wagon. She could lay there while you did the work.
She had a way about her and so many fell in love with Paisley. It's amazing how someone so small could have such a significant impact on our lives.
We are still struggling with her loss but I know she was loved and happy right to the end, and so was I. There will never be another pug like her for me but, it's okay, they all have their place in my heart and Paisley will live on because of us.
Thank you all for all your love and support throughout my time with her. Juanita

Juanita thank you for loving Paisley as much as we did. Her loss is hard for us but are glad she is no longer suffering. Blessing to you and all the hospice and foster families for pugs who are loved but can no longer remain with their families.

Paisley,

I first met you at your former family's home. They loved you sooooo much but couldn't take care of you any longer. They knew CFPR could and would take care of you until the day came that you left. You blessed my home with such sweetness (and feistiness!) for the short time that you were with me. Thank you for letting me be part of your life.

You are whole and free of any pain .... find all your CFPR friends who have crossed the bridge before you.

Paisley continues to fill our home with joy. She is still her spunky little self at meal time and loves her rides in the wagon. She gets to see everything and not move a muscle. She has been on a bit of a diet lately and doing well with it. She has a pretty new purple dress she likes and doesn't want to grow out of it. She loves her snuggle time and I love giving them. Paisley is doing good. Juanita

Hi Ruth, I went to Nita's place a couple of weeks ago to visit the hospice babies, especially Paisley. She is a beautiful little girl! She loved the wagon rides alot. When she saw Nita pull the wagon out from the garage, her little butt started moving quickly toward Nita. We alternated the babies between rounds but Paisley was the only one that got to go on all the rides. She did not move from her place, lol! She is a joy and is being well loved in Nita's home.

Paisley has also taken on a job to become Nita's nanny for her son, Jordan. If Jordan moves around the house, she starts barking at him to let Nita know he's up to something. I just love that little girl!

Reading about Paisely almost made me cry because I lost my first dog Maxie to a combination of cancer and epilepsy. Both took a great toll on him and he passed away about 5 years ago. I am glad to see Paisley found someone who has the heart to take her in and bravery for I remember how hard the road was with my dear Maxie. God bless you.
