Virgil
Virgil was one of my fosters, acquired as a stray in very poor physical shape. Virgil suffered from seizures, which he had on a weekly basis, each of which required several days of recuperation at Dr. Hart’s. He passed quietly at home after a severe seizure, in March of 2008. Virgil had limited eye sight, but despite his disabilities and poor health he was always first to the door to greet me when I came home from work and he loved to cuddle next to me at night and listen to the TV. He was a sweet old guy and deserved so much more in life. I miss him very much.
