Maddie
Hi, my name is Maddie and I am 6 years old. I love to be a lap dog, and a snuggle pug. If you are sitting down, I will be on your lap or at your feet. I had several litters of puppies before finding my way to rescue, now I have been spayed and I am looking forward to retirement from breeding. Don’t get me wrong, I get along just fine with young dogs, but I am ready for relaxation. I do enjoy going for a walk before it gets too hot outside and I like a walk in the evening just before sunset. I am working on my house training, I used to be in a crate or kennel, so remembering to wait to go outside is difficult for me. I still like the comfort of a soft bed in a crate when you are not home, but I am ready to have freedom as soon as you arrive. The crate also helps me to remember to “hold it” until you let me outside.
I am spayed, up to date on my shots and microchipped. I am just waiting for results from the vet for the all clear.
Check back soon to see when I am ready to be adopted.

How is the potty training going?
Hello-
My family and I are looking to adopt a female pug. Maddie seems like such a doll. We would love to have a chance to adopt her.
Why is Maddie in rescue?
Hi Paula,
I do not have the information on why Maddie is in rescue at this time. I do know her foster mom and dad are considering adopting her which is why she is still in waiting on the website. I would encourage you to consider another pug. Thank you-Dana-Foster/Medical Director
